We’ve taken another step towards our pledge to promote grassroots level football across Maharashtra, this has been made possible by our association with the Miners SC, a football club with a long standing heritage of over 40 years. IMCO is proud to be one of the sponsors of the Miners SC. Through our association with the club we aim to promote getting more kids involved in sports and giving them a platform to really showcase their skills.

A large strata of the Indian society does not have proper access to training and the funding to help them build a career in sports. Our director Joydeep Duttagupta grew up playing and watching the Miners SC and even making on field appearances for them. He believes that sports can be a great instrument to help underprivileged children really dream big and keep them from falling trap to bad habits. Sports also acts as a source of true learning of teamwork, dedication and hardwork. This initiative is very close to his heart and we hope to bring in a positive impact to society through this.

We are utilizing football to make significant associations around the world and advantage youngsters who really need it most. Promoting a positive recreational outlet provides a platform which encourages youth to take charge of their future and become positive contributing members of society.

Till now since the year 2011, we have organized around 8 tournaments among 6 cities in Maharashtra. Nearly 200 participants have joined our multiple activities. Our tournament generally starts at 8 am in the morning and continues till dusk. In order to encourage the members that they are provided with a certificate of participation which helps them in reaching their future goals.
