A Guide to Swing Type Fibrizors
Overview
Each sugarcane that passes through a sugar mill must be shredded into a fibrous mass before it is processed for further crushing and refining processes.
This shredding process is essential to open the cells and enable the crushing of sugarcane between the rollers of the mills to extract juices with ease.
This shredding process is performed using high-quality Fibrizers. It plays a major role in the sugar manufacturing process, and let’s see how essential this equipment is for the sugar industry.
Technical Aspects
The Fibrizer is widely used in the milling plant of the sugarcane industry, where the cane is crushed to extract the juices. This equipment comes along with a series of special hammers combined to provide maximum shredding and extraction. These Fibrizers are available in four different models,
- Disc model fibrizer
- Swing hammer Fibrizer
- Triangular Fibrizer
- Fourway Fibrizer
Among these models, the Swing hammer model has gained more popularity in recent years due to stainless steel construction with a suitable width space between each carrier.
The hammers are mounted on a 40 C8 quality shaft and are made up of high-quality stainless steel metal.
The diameters of the hammers come along with a customization option. Depending upon the client’s requirement and unit production capacity, the Fibrizer types are suggested for usage.

High Cane Preparation
The cane preparation index indicates the degree of cane preparation directly proportional to the sucrose extraction. The Fibrizers offer nearly 86-92% of the cane preparation index with the developed capacity of the plant. Fibrizers provide the industries with an increase in throughput.
Shockproof Technology
The Fibrizers come with four arms with rotor discs that prevent them from shocks. Each hammer shank is inserted into the measuring the pockets and fast and the high tensile to improve the quality of the product.
Anvil
It comes with an adjustable Anvil available in two different formats called the pocketed Anvil, which is a replaceable grid bar model. The Anvil in the shredder comes with deep pockets formed by grid bars.
