Zuper Anvil
For our Anvils we generally use materials with excellent abrasion & impact resistance. We manufacture anvils of 3 kinds :
- Pocketed Anvil
- Serrated Anvil
- Straight Line Anvil
We determine which material is best to be used depending on the application-specific requirements such as power, crushing capacity, cane carrier width and current conditions of the shredder. Depending on the requirements, certain parameters such as high Impact, future capacity expansion and the potential for weight savings are also taken into account when selecting the appropriate material.
Zuper Anvil Segments for Pocketed/ Serrated Anvil Plates
IMCO Alloys is the leading manufacturer of the New generation ready-made Replaceable Anvil Segments made of high chromium carbides having excellent abrasion, impact & corrosion resistance properties. The Anvil segments have a hardness 63 HRc and can be easily placed on pocketed / serrated Anvil plate & welded as per drawing. These 15 mm to 20 mm carbides give excellent abrasion resistance properties & the volume cost of carbides is more than 75% compared to 30% of welding (hard facing). These have approximately 3 times more life compared to welding & these segments can be easily replaced on worn-out areas only.
