Zuper Block
Overview
The Zuper Block is an extremely strong abrasion-resistant composite hammer insert used to crush sugarcane. The Zuper Block consists of complex primary and secondary carbides which are metallurgically bonded to a mild steel backing plate. Sand (silica) and other abrasive material harvested with sugar cane can cause severe damage on shredder/fibrizor hammers. Thus replacing these parts with Zuper Blocks can substantially reduce wear & considerably increase the quality of the preparation.
The Zuper block inserts can easily be fitted to hammers shanks using a single bolt and washers arrangement. These inserts can be easily turned and all four sides of these inserts can be used, giving it a longer life and superior edge retention qualities.
