Overview
IMCO ALLOYS offers an advanced Rotary Juice Screen solution engineered for maximum juice recovery and purity. The segmented and bolted screen drum design ensures a strong mechanical structure, easy transport, and efficient operation for mills up to 10,000 TCD.
Technical Specifications:
- Wedge Wire SS304 Screen – 0.35 mm, 0.45 mm, and 0.5 mm openings available
- Screen Length: up to 6.0 meters
- Diameter Range: 1.2 m to 2.4 m
- Two-Stage Screening: Removes up to 90% bagacillio (200–300 micron)
How It Works:
Mill juice containing bagasse particles enters the rotary drum from the drive end. As the juice flows tangentially across the rotating screen, impurities are separated while clean juice passes through. Retained solids are discharged continuously via a screw conveyor or chute.
