The IMCO make coal burner nozzle is an improved nozzle tip duly inserted Metal Matrix composite ceramics. The burner consists of a base body fused with ceramic at the working area and replaceable splitter plates/baffle plates duly fused with a metal matrix ceramic composite which can withstand high temperature.
The splitter plate defines a highly abrasion and erosion resistant flow conduit through the nozzle tip from the discharge end of the base body to the receiving end of the end cap through which the pulverized fuel and air stream passes from the burner into the furnace.

Key Benefits
The Baffle plate inserted with Metal Matric Ceramics Composites (MMCC) are a highly erosion resistant insert that defines a flow passage for directing pulverized coal entrained in primary air from the coal delivery pipe into the furnace.
Ceramic Inserts are highly temperature resistant providing an end cap to withstand the high temperatures generated within the furnace.
Baffle plates can easily be welded to the base frame.
